French opaline glass vases, beautifully hand enamelled and gilded with butterflies and garlands of flowers on a pale custard colour glass.  French, 19th century.

The enamelling is in excellent condition and the gilding is only showing minor wear. This is an exceptional pair.

11 3/4” (30cm)  high, 4 3/4” (12cm) diameter at the widest.
