Product Description

Significant porcelain box, in the style of Sevres, attributed to France late 19th century. The domed top panel has an 18th century style courting scene, with all four sides decorated with floral panels framed in gilded scrolling against a cobalt blue ground.  The box has more floral sprays on the inside of the cover and base.  The frame of the box and hinged cover is gilt metal with a rope twist rim.

10 3/4” (27.3cm) by 7” (17.8cm), 5 1/2” (14cm) high at the domed cover.


RVP
