Georg Jensen sterling silver water jug, Design 432A.  This water pitcher was designed by Johan Rohde (1856-1935) who did creative work for Georg Jensen as early as 1906; and committing to designing solely for Jensen in 1913.  Rohde’s work is known for his hammered finishes on highly stylized bodies.  The 432 water pitcher was designed in 1920 but  considered so ahead of its time that it was not put into production until 1925.

There is a presentation engraving discreetly engraved on the bottom of the pitcher that reads:
