George II style “six shell” base sterling silver candlesticks, made in England.  Fully hallmarked for London 1970, made by D J Silver of Clerkenwell Road, London, in business circa 1962-75.

The candlesticks are a faithful reproduction of silver candlestick style of the 1750’s.  True to the style of the era, they are compete with the original matching bobeches.

9 5/8” (24.5cm) high, 4 3/4” (12.1cm) diameter at the widest.
