Gourmets Delight cookie tin, in the form of a book, early 20th century.

Victoria was a Belgian based cookie and chocolate producer, established in 1896.  They also had factories in France and the Netherlands.  Gourmets Delight was their brand of biscuits, sold in this faux “embossed red leather bound” book, from the Victoria-Dordrecht, Netherlands factory.  

Ready to be filled with 21st century sweets!

The tin has minor wear, consistent with age and use.
