Karl Hagenauer (1898-1956) was the son of Carl Hagenauer (1872-1928) both celebrated sculptors and designers from Vienna, Austria. Karl’s work was inspired by North African masks and figures, drawing on a similar aesthetic as Pablo Picasso’s early Cubist painting.
