Antique 800 Fine Silver repousse tea caddy, attributed to Hanau, Germany, circa 1890.  The oval tea caddy is highly decorated with two scenes of 18th century village life.

The tea caddy has space for a monogram or presentation engraving on the cover.

4 5/8” (11.8cm) high, 3 1/4” (8.3cm) by 2 5/8” (6.6cm).
