Haviland Limoges Trembleuse Cup & Saucer, Made for Tiffany & Co., circa 1876-89

Antique Haviland & Co. porcelain trembleuse coffee can size cup and saucer, made in Limoges France exclusively for Tiffany & Co., New York.  The saucer is identified as “POUR” (for in French) and the style of the Haviland trademark, H & Co. over L dates the cup and saucer to the period 1876-1889.  The cup and saucer are a pale lemon yellow with a black transfer braided rope design at the rim and handle, with bands of gilding.  The cup and saucer are in excellent condition.

The cup is 2 3/8” (6cm) high, 2 3/8” (6cm) diameter at the rim.

The saucer is 4 7/8” (12.3cm) diameter.
