Japanese 970 Fine Silver overlay decanter, circa 1920.

The silver overlay is a wonderful medley of flowers in repose work over a three sided pinched glass bottle, with a silver covered cork stopper.  The bottom of the decanter is marked Sterling 970, for 970 Fine Silver.

9” (22.9cm) high, 4 1/4” (10.8cm) diameter.
