Product Description

Japanese Imari bowl, made in Japan for export to the west in the 19th century.  The bowl is decorated in under glaze blue, peach, red/rust and green, on both the inside and out on a vertically ribbed body.

There is a firing crack on the base of the bowl, visible only from the underneath.

8 1/2” (21.6cm) diameter, 3 1/4” (8.2cm) high.
