Japanese Moriagi vases, circa 1880-1900.

Decorated with a genre scene of 5 men in kimonos on the front, against a mostly green and gold background.  The reverse side is predominantly in shades of blue.

One of the vases is in excellent condition and one has old repairs at the rim that are visible from the top only.  They would make an excellent choice for lamp bases.

16 1/2” (41.9cm) high,  6 3/4” (17.2cm) diameter at the shoulder.
