Product Description

Japanese Shakudo mixed metal case; Komai Damascene style gold and silver inlay.

The front of the case is a genre scene of a rickshaw driver and seated lady against a background of architecture, trees and a mountain.  The reverse is a pared down image of two sailboats and their reflections in the water.  The maker’s trademark with K24 signifies 24 karat gold inlay.

Made in Japan, early 20th century.

The case is in good condition with very minor wear only.

4 3/4” (12.1cm) by 3 1/8” (8cm).
