Birks Sterling Silver & Crystal Dresser Jar

Birks sterling silver and cut crystal dresser/powder jar.  Made by Birks Brothers of Montreal, Canada, circa 1940-50.  The sterling silver lid is detailed with floral scrolling, engine turned engraving and a shaped floral border.  Monogrammed “JP”.

4 3/4” (12.1cm) diameter, 2 1/2” (6.3cm) high.  The top is slightly domed.
