Edwardian Sterling Silver Lined Jewellery Box, London 1909

Product Details

Edwardian sterling silver lined jewellery box.  English hallmarks for London 1909, made by the prestigious silversmith company William Comyns & Sons of Beak Street, London, England.

The lozenge shaped box has a hinged cover that is decorated with fine engine turned engraving and stippled, giving the illusion of button tufted upholstery and a central blank oval suitable for engraving.

The box is 11 1/2” (29.2cm) by 8” (20.3cm), 2 1/2” (6.4cm) high.

In excellent condition and ready to be filled with jewels!
