English Art Deco Sterling Silver Dresser Box Dated 1947

Product Details

English Art Deco sterling silver box, hallmarked for Birmingham 1947.  From the silversmiths Charles S. Green & Co. Ltd of Birmingham and London, England.  The oblong box is beautifully detailed with floral scrolling and engine turned engraving, raised on stylized claw feet.  The interior is lined with dark purple velvet.

The box does not have monograms or presentation engravings.

4 3/4” (12.1cm) by 3” (7.6cm), 1 3/4” high.  The top is slightly domed.
