Imari Porcelain Table Box

Imari hand painted porcelain table box, decorated with rust red floral sprays with cobalt blue and heavily gilded on all four sides and the domed top.  The frame of the box and hinged cover is gilt metal with a rope twist rim.  Marked only with the number “8921” stamped in gold.  Continental origin, early 20th century.
