A beautiful Edwardian ruby and diamond racehorse and jockey enamel brooch made in 9kt. yellow gold with silver. The brooch is set with 1 round cabochon ruby (Clarity: LI / Colour: Medium Pinkish Red) weighing approximately 0.01ct. The brooch is also set with 38 old European cut Diamonds (Clarity: SI - I1 / Colour: H - I) which are estimated to weigh 0.81ct. total weight. The jockey is finished in a white enamel. The diamonds have minor wear consistent with age. The approximate weight of the brooch is 3.0gm.
