A beautiful pair of vintage sapphire and diamond ' knot ' earrings made in 18kt. yellow gold, c. 1970. The earrings are set with 22 straight baguette blue sapphires (Clarity: MI / Colour: Medium - Deep Blue) which are estimated to weigh 0.39ct. total weight. Some sapphires have minor wear with age. The earrings are also set with 30 single cut diamonds (Clarity: I1 / Colour: J - K) which are estimated to weigh 0.18ct. total weight. The approximate weight of the earrings is 5.0gm.
