Product Description
Jugendstil silver plate covered punch bowl with glass liner. The grape and vine frieze, handles and finial are cast, all on a brass base and silver plated. The punch bowl has an internal glass liner which saves the silver from ill effects of any citrus component of a fruit punch. Unmarked, attributed to WMF (Wurttembergische Metallwarenfabrik), Germany, circa 1900-10. There is minor wear to the silver plate, wear consistent with age and use. 15 1/4” (38.7cm) high, 14 3/4” (37.5cm) across the handles.
