Koshida Satsuma coffee set, made in Japan, post WWII / mid 20th century.  The hand painted set incorporates both a gold on black Mt. Fuji-horizon inspired borders/rims and multi-colour butterflies against a gold basket/netting.

The set has a coffee pot, covered creamer, covered sugar bowl, 6 cups and 7 saucers.  The pot has a minor chip glued back in at the rim, visible only upon close inspection.  Otherwise in very good condition; wear consistent with age and use.

The coffee pot is 6 5/8” (16.8cm) high.

The cups are 2 1/8” (5.4cm) high, 2 1/8” (5.4cm) diameter.

The saucers are 4 7/8” (12.4cm) diameter.
