The silver plate trophy has a raised plaque depicting a female golfer on the green with the club house in the background, mounted on a cylindrical wood plinth. Engraved: Ladies’ Amateur Championship Manitou Beach Golf Club Presented By Manitou Beach Citizens For Annual Competition The base has four engraved shields for the individual winners: Miss A. Rorison 1931 Mrs. O. M. Higgins 1932 Mrs. O. M. Higgins 1933 Mrs. O. M. Higgins 1934 The trophy does show some wear to the silver plating and it is a great testament to ladies sport! 15” (38.1cm) total height, 9 1/2” (24.1cm) height of trophy only, 14 1/4” (36.2cm) across the handles. $1295. The Manitou Beach Golf Club is located in Manitou Beach, just north of Watrous, Saskatchewan (roughly half way between Saskatoon and Regina). It is a 9-hole golf course, open seasonally May through October.
