Late Victorian Shell Form Biscuitier

Late Victorian silver plate shell form biscuitier, made in England, circa 1900.  Made by William Adams Inc. of Birmingham, England, established in 1865, with most of their production intended for export to the USA.  The company’s primary trademark was a geometry compass, in this case flanked by the capital letters W and A, over E.P.N.S. (electro plate nickel silver).  The open / close mechanism slides smoothly and the silver plate is in good condition. 

10” (25.4cm) high, 9 1/4” (23.5cm) by 5” (12.7cm), 13” (33cm) across when fully open.
