Masons Chinese ironstone temple jar, English, circa 1895.
The temple jar is hexagonal, with two panels depicting Chinese figures and two matching panels depicting a flowering shrub with white blossoms against an orange ground, alternating with four panels of fish scale pattern heavily gilded on underglaze blue.
There is a small restoration at the rim, wear consistent with age and use.
19 1/2” (49.5cm) high, 10” (25.4cm) diameter.
