Acid etched gold trimmed Mintons service plates, produced for Birks, Canada.  

The plates are trademarked stamped for Mintons England and Birks.  The impressed Mintons mark has the date cypher for 1928.

The bright apple green border is richly ornamented with acid etched gold banding and beaded swags.  Pattern #H3951.

10 5/8” (26.7cm) diameter.
