Mixed metal 19th century jardinieres, designed in the manner of classical antiquities. The rams head and hoof legs, leaf festoons and wreaths and Roman style portrait busts are all cast brass mounts on a copper body.  They are a near pair, the jardiniere on the left having a simpler body with more brass swags and the jardiniere on the right having chased panels.

There is some discolouration on the inside of the jardinieres, wear consistent with age and use.

7 1/4” (18.5cm) high, 10” (25.4cm) overall diameter.
