Monumental vintage sterling silver trophy for horsemanship, circa 1940s.  A large presentation trophy such as this was likely a bespoke item.  This piece bears the trademark of the silversmith company Old Newbury Crafters of Newburyport, Mass.  The original gilded interior is intact.

The inscription on the front reads:

On the reverse the winners are listed for every year from 1946 to 1987.
