Antique scent bottle in the shape of a miniature ewer.  The gilt metal mounted shell body scent / perfume bottle is from the late Victorian era, circa 1880-1900.  Often these are Palais Royal Paris souvenirs, akin to “Grand Tour” mementos for the discerning traveler that were brought back home from southern Europe.  The pedestal base is decorate with crescent moons and stars, favourite symbols in the Victorian era.
