Russian pre-revolution silver asparagus tongs, Fiddle pattern, made with a satin finish. The tongs have the Russian silver mark for 84 Zolotniks, which is equivalent to 875 Fine Silver. The depiction of the peasant woman looking left at the number 84 in an oval cartouche is the mark used for the time period of 1896-1908. M.A.A. is most likely a retailer’s mark.
