Modelled by Christian Thomsen (1860-1921).  Thomsen designed figurines for Royal Copenhagen from 1898 until his death in 1921.

12” (30.5cm) high, 8” (20.3cm) by 9 1/2” (24.1cm) at the base.

They would make excellent bookends.
