Product Description

Royal Doulton flambé Stalking Tiger in flambé red glaze with black stripes, part of the Wild Animal series, produced in flambé circa 1950-96.  Royal Doulton model number HN 1082.

This tiger was modelled by Charles Noke (1858-1941), also responsible for creating the flambé glazes in conjunction with Bernard Moore, which were first exhibited at the St. Louis Exhibition in 1904.

Trademarked stamped and signed in the bottom of the paws.

13 3/4” (35cm) long, 3 1/2” (9cm) wide, 5 7/8” (15cm) high.
