Set of 4 sterling silver candlesticks, English hallmarks for Sheffield 1952.  In 1952/3 the sovereign’s profile was used to honour the coronation of Queen Elizabeth II.  The silversmith company is the prolific Mappin & Webb of Royal Cutlery Works, Norfolk Street, Sheffield.

The Queen Anne style, octagonal stepped candlesticks are a classic style, much loved 300 + years later.

5 1/2” (14cm) high, 4 1/2” (11.5cm) diameter at the widest.
