Product Description

Lovely Sheffield silver plate entree dishes of an elongated quatrefoil form on a lobed body, with lion pad feet.

The only trademarks are of a Pegasus (winged horse) stamped on the bottom of the dishes, English, mid 19th century.  The copper base is showing at the edges; what Sheffield enthusiasts refer to as “the copper is bleeding”, demonstrating that they are in original and not replated condition.  Wear consistent with age and use.

13 1/2” (34.3cm) by 10 1/4” (26cm), 7 1/4” (18.4cm) high.
