A monumental Stefano Toso Murano art glass vase, dynamically showcasing red and blue diagonal stripes with pale seafoam green in the background.  The vase is finished with a rolled rim and is signed with the etched signature; Stefano Toso Murano on the bottom.

14 7/8” (38cm) high, 6 3/4” (17.2cm) diameter at the rim.

* Stefano Toso (born 1958 in Venice) is from a family with a long history of glassmaking.  At a young age he apprenticed with his father, starting his formal training in 1975, opening his own studio in 1977.  Through the 1980s and 90s Toso worked both independently and in collaboration with other glass artists.  Stefano Toso is now retired.
