Sterling silver gold washed (silver gilt) ciborium, American, 20th century.  The ciborium is satin finished and has a soft lustre, showing very little wear to the gilding.

Stamped on both the ciborium and the cover STERLING, and further identified on the base BENZINGER BROS. INC., and  SS 10669. *

9 1/2” (24.1cm) high, 6 1/4” (15.9cm) diameter at the base.
