Product CodeSPOCASJ9900
Product NameSpode Hand Painted And Gilded Cachepot And Stand, Pattern # 1926
Product Description

Spode hand painted and gilded cachepot and stand, pattern # 1926.  Decorated with landscape scenes of castles and bridges in river valley settings.  Identified on the base Spode 1926 painted in iron-red enamel, with the Spode trademark circa 1891-1900.  Pattern # 1926 was introduced by Spode circa 1812-13 and featured romanticized scenes of castle ruins in landscape settings.  The gilded “French Edge & Band” at the rim was a standard finishing detail of the design.

The stand has the smallest nick, barely noticeable and not seen when the two sections are together.  A beautiful addition to an English china collector’s treasures.

7 1/2” (19cm) high, 6 1/2” (16.5cm) diameter at the rim.

$2495.
