Substantial Late Victorian English sterling silver Corinthian column candlesticks, hallmarked Sheffield 1900.  From James Dixon & Sons, established in 1806.  These large scale candlesticks are intricately detailed and are complete with the original matching bobeches.

Corinthian column candlesticks were a favourite of the late Victorian and Edwardian era.  There is a presentation engraving on the pedestal base of one of the candlesticks, which reads:
