Victorian sterling silver figural match safe / vesta, in the shape of a pig or wild boar.  The whimsical match safe is hinged at the neck, with a textured body to emulate a pig’s bristly skin and is ridged on the underneath, providing the surface to strike wooden matches against.    Impressed mark STERLING.
