Product Description

Sterling silver jewellery box, English hallmarks for Birmingham 1918, made by the silversmith firm of Cornelius Desormeaux Saunders & James Francis Hollings (Frank) Shepherd of Holborn Circus and Fetter Lane, London, England.  

The hinged box is an unusual shape; triangular with rounded corners and raised on three feet.  The cover is decorated with stripes of engine turned engraving, highlighting that the central roundel is without monograms.  The interior is fitted with the original satin lining.

2 1/2” (6.4cm) diameter, 1 1/2” (3.8cm) high.  The top is slightly domed.


RVP
