Vintage SylvaC creamware vase, made in England, circa 1950s.  Made by Shaw & Copestake Ltd. of Stoke-on-Trent, England, in business 1894-1982. SylvaC was a trade name used by Shaw & Copestake, first recorded circa 1937.  This vase has the impressed marks “SylvaC Made in England” used through the 1950s.  A most unusual feature is that this vase still has the original paper label; usually long washed away!

10 1/4” (26cm) high, 5 3/4” (14.6cm) diameter at the base.
