Thousand Faces porcelain tea set, Japanese, circa 1900. 

The pattern of One Thousand Faces is a traditional Asian design motif of multiple tiny faces, thought to originate with Buddhism.

The set is comprised of a teapot, covered cream jug, covered sugar bowl and 6 teacups & saucers.  One of the saucers is repaired.

The teapot is 7 3/4” (19.7cm) high.
