Victorian era tri-colour Wedgwood Jasperware biscuit barrel, made in England circa 1893/94.  The biscuit barrel is decorated with classical scenes from antiquity against a dark blue background, with lighter blue at the top and bottom.  The silver plate mounts are in very good condition, with very minor loss to the white slip-casted relief figures.  Impressed marks WEDGWOOD and ENGLAND.  There is a date letter of either V or W super-imposed over the W of WEDGWOOD, dating the biscuit barrel 1893 or 1894.

6 1/4” (15.9cm) high to the top of the finial, 8 1/2” (21.6cm) to the top of the handle, 5 1/8” (13cm) diameter.
