Victorian Copeland ironstone platter, decorated in the style of a Chinese landscape with flowering shrubbery.  Painted in an underglaze blue with enamels in green, mustard and iron oxide red.

There is minor wear to the painting, wear consistent with age and use.

Impressed “Copeland over a crown” and “D over A”, circa 1850-60.
