Product Description

Victorian hammered pewter water pitcher, made by John Turton of Sheffield, England, pre-1898.  John Turton was active by 1849 with the bulk of his work in pewter being from 1876-1898.  “& Co.” was added post 1898 and John Turton & Co. became a limited company (Ltd) in 1910.
