Ornate Victorian silver plated roll top breakfast server. From the workshops of Walker & Hall, Sheffield, England. The server is trademarked with W & H’s date cypher for 1891, which is Eta of the Greek alphabet in lower case.
The dome is elaborately decorated with cast and chased elements in multiple panels , including a blank shield, suitable for a presentation engraving. Complete with both internal trays, and the plating is in good condition.
21st century uses for breakfast servers are asparagus servers, entree dishes, bread baskets, guest bathroom hand towels and for the vanity counter; a perfect wedding gift!
