Victorian silver plate spoon warmer, English, design patent dated 1868.

This unusual spoon warmer is in the form of a buoy anchored by a chain to a rocky base.

Trademarked on the bottom:

HA EA FA EPNS 9  1392

For Harry Wright Atkin, Edward Thomas Atkin and Frank Shaw Atkin, Electro Plate Nickel Silver.  The Atkin Brothers were established at Truro Works, Matilda St., Sheffield England, and used this mark from 1853.  This spoon warmer also has the English patent date of November 24, 1868.

In excellent condition!

7 1/4” (18.4cm) by 4 1/2” (11.4cm), 5 1/2” (13.4cm) high.
