Product Description

Victorian sterling silver Christening cup, English hallmarks for London 1861.  The silversmiths are Daniel & Charles Houle, whose trademark was registered in 1842.

The cup has a double presentation engraving in Script.  The original engraving is most likely “ACL” and on the reverse is “JCL 1913”, perhaps the grandchild of the original recipient.
