Victorian sterling silver goblet, hallmarked Sheffield 1896.

The bowl of the cup and the pedestal base are chased and engraved by hand.

The silversmith is Henry Atkin , later to become Atkin Brothers of Sheffield England.

The original presentation engraving reads:

J-H

S-A-H

3rd September 1899.

7 3/4” (19.6cm) high,

3 1/2” (9cm) diameter at the rim.
