Product Description

Victorian sterling silver salt cellars and spoons, hallmarked Sheffield 1889/90.  The miniature cauldron shaped salt cellars are raised on three bead feet with crimped rims and gold washed interiors.  The salt cellars and spoons are in the original presentation box, which shows minor wear on the outside only.

The salt cellars are hallmarked Sheffield 1890 and the salt spoons are Sheffield 1889.  The salt cellars are marked JEB and W&H in a pennant flag.  JEB is the mark for John Edward Bingham who worked for, or in association with Walker & Hall, the prolific firm of Electro Works, Howard Street, England.
