Victorian era sterling silver teapot trivet, English hallmarks for London 1899.  Made in the style of a George III era trivet of the period 1780-1810.  The simple oval shape has a gadroon edge rim and bracket feet.  From the prolific silversmith Charles Stuart Harris, active through the later half of the 19th century.
