Vintage silver plate box, featuring a village scene on the cover.  The spirited gathering is reminiscent of the 16th century dutch artist Pieter Bruegel’s painting “Peasant Dance”.  Silver plate on brass with a cedar lining.  Made in Denmark, circa 1960.
